Technically, this period is called the third neo-egyptian style ( of the second neo-egyptian revival) and lasted from 1922-1930. But to me, it’s all adventure and gold and curses and glamour.
I’m particularly wanting some sort of gold vulture/scarab/Tut inspired bobbles. To go with the peach crepe dropwaisted dress I don’t have.
Where on earth did ric rac go? Probably not anywhere.
Normally this sort of thing is not my cup of tea. But I can’t help but to love this band. i think what we’re hearing here, is the future. Particularly, their album ‘Nortenas.’
