Anne of Japan

So I guess Anne of Green Gables is hugely huge in Japan. I heard a fabulous story recently of a Japanese couple that flew to Prince Edward Island’s Anne of Green Gables house to “make a baby” and then once the deed was done, immediatly left.

I love it!

Why no smocking on adult clothing? (The occasional tube top aside.)
It´s really very sweet and flattering.

For those who don´t know, smocking is a type of embroidery that results in a stretchy sort of gathered panel on clothing. Shirred.
