Oh, it’s been just forever. And I’m really going to try this time. To my fan; thanks for the push.
Part of my hesitation to taste-make has come from format confusion. My deepest fear was that I’d ‘mommy blog’. And maybe I will a bit. If I’ve learned anything in the 18 month adventure I’ve been on, it’s the importance of going with the flow.
I can’t pretend that a lot of really excellent stuff has come and gone in last couple of years that I just can’t even bring up. Tastemakerschoice has always felt very much about what was happening in the NOW for me. I feel sad for all of the little things unrecognized.
Beaded moccasins.
Foam rolling.
Sensor II Pyramid Power medallion.
Purple and gold. Also, gold leather.
Juniper Ridge Douglas Fir Spring Tip tea.
Love. Eye contact. Smiles. Rainbows.
The beaten down oriental rug/too many plants/stained glass window/wood stove thing.

Also, I recently watched Pretty In Pink, my favorite John Hughes movie. I had forgotten how much I wanted to someday be Iona. She’s a grown up, she’s maternal, she’s a goofball, and she’s got wigs.

So, basically I need some wigs. And that dress.
